The Art of OM Records

Founded in 1995 in San Francisco, global electronic label Om Records is a powerhouse music company with over two-hundred and fifty releases under its belt, as well as a global events production company producing over three-hundred music showcases a year from Tokyo and Dubai to Spain and Brazil. Branded the United Nations of Future Music, Om's mission is to find, put out and promote music that is refined, innovative and always pushing boundaries.

This Art Vinyl exhibition will showcase the best in sleeve design from the label as well as the gallery playing host to some of the label's respective DJs.

You Can Create

Venue - The Fishmarket, Bradshaw Street, Northampton

You Can Create was an open invitation from Maps and Mute Records. Illustrators, designers and creative individuals were invited to create an image - or images - inspired by the Maps album We Can Create, see the 33 finalists that were judged to capture the spirit of Maps music, at The Fishmarket as part of the Middle of Nowhere Festival.

A one off exhibition as Peter Hook from New Order and Joy Division curates the Art Vinyl Gallery with some classic art and design from the Factory Records vaults. This will also be a one off opportunity to purchase a limited edition Fact 51 T-Shirt Flip Frame designed specifically for the exhibition.
